Bear problems not here!

Spring is here and another year of entertainment from our furry black friends from the woods is yet to begin.

In the next couple weeks, black bears will be up and about, roaming for food and making their tracks back into the northern communities of Ontario. Since the closure of the spring bear hunt in the 1990's, the black bear population has rapidly exploded to high numbers. Of course, the Ministry of Natural Resources will never admit there is a bear problem, but has spent millions of dollars on their bear wise program. Yep, bear problems not here!

(In the picture is a BEAR WISE sign which they posted at all three major highways entering to Timmins, Ontario. One in french and other in english - a total of six signs.)
NOTE: Ford sign is a billboard in the background and is not part of the bear wise sign.

Is Ford sponsoring the "Don't Feed the Bears" signs? That's really odd product placement.

No, Ford is not sponsoring that sign. It's just a billboard in the background.

O.k., that makes more sense.
