1 duck
1 onion sliced
1/2 cup of butter
1 bay leaf
2 cups of water
1 cup sliced mushrooms
2 tablespoons of flour
1/8 teaspoon of thyme
salt and pepper
Prepare, Brown duck with onion in butter. Add salt,pepper,water and bay leaf. Cook slowly for 1 1/2 hours. Saute mushrooms. Add flour and thyme. Add to duck. Cook 30 minutes more. Serve with rice and nice glass of red wine.
